2020 Metz Road Chardonnay Awarded 99 Point Double Gold at the California State Fair

The results are in! The California State Fair awarded 99 points to our 2020 Metz Road Chardonnay, along with a Double Gold and Best of Class of Appellation. The 168-year-old competition recognizes the best wines produced in California and is the oldest wine judging competition in America.

Metz Road Chardonnay is one of our finest chardonnays from our estate Riverview Vineyard in Soledad. The wine is complex and forward with hints of oak, stone fruit, grilled almonds, and toasted oak - this wine pairs perfectly with summer.
