Our Vineyards
Using Monterey County’s unique geography to our advantage, we grow more than 35 varieties of wine grapes, each planted in their optimal environment for greater varietal intensity, balanced acidity, and deeper color extraction.

An Expansive Array of Exceptional Vineyards
Nestled between the Gabilan and Santa Lucia mountain ranges, our estate vineyards occupy a 70-mile stretch encompassing four primary climate zones and many different terroirs. With long sunny days tempered by the cool sea air from Monterey Bay, the conditions are ideal; with the longest growing season in California, our grapes spend more time on the vine, ripening slowly and evenly until they reach optimal flavor development.

Embracing Sustainable Practices
We’ve always believed that great wine starts with respect for the land. Our vineyards have been 100% sustainably certified since 2014, and in 2024, we proudly earned Bee Friendly Farming certification, recognizing the vital role pollinators play in a healthy environment. Sustainability isn’t just the right thing to do; it’s what consumers expect. From grapes to glass, we remain committed to deepening our efforts and pushing sustainability forward in every part of our business.

Responsible Viticulture in Action
We’re intimately familiar with the role climate plays in wine grape production, and the role we play in climate change. That’s one reason why we’re so committed to protecting the environment we depend on through a series of long-standing sustainability initiatives.
